		<description>This is probably the biggest reason why I am glad I am no longer an undergraduate.  You deal with this sort of ignorance far less in graduate school, where people were actually admitted due to high academic backgrounds, and not by their simple ability to pay tuition.</description>

		<description>I had a real Cady-moment today. My sociology prof was going on about &quot;common sense&quot;, and how it was common sense in our society for women to be treated as inferior. The point of the example was to prove that if we use her fancy sociology method, we can prove that that isn&#039;t true anymore, and that idea is now wrong.

So I launched into one of your women&#039;s vs. men&#039;s dollar speeches, women in the workforce, and other such tidbits. Unfortunately, she basically ignored me.

I fight to make you proud, Cady-dear. &lt;3</description>
